MCG Resources
From the time of incorporation, MCG Resources has held a Vision “to acquire a portfolio
of 5 mining tenements within Australia by 2010 for exploration with the aim of having at
least 1 opportunity that could be brought to development by 2013”.
The strategy to acquire a portfolio of 5 mining tenements will be achieved by progressing
the following strategies in parallel;
1. Pegging of vacant tenure
2. Farming into existing tenement holders
3. Acquisition of an existing project
To date, MCG Resources has focused on the first strategy of pegging vacant tenure and
have been successful in securing four Granted Exploration Permits.
MCG Resources conducted it’s first initial target drilling program in October 2009 on
EPC1560.
Moving forward, MCG Resources are continuing to progress initial target drilling
programs on the current tenements, and are commencing to expand the tenement base
with by reviewing a number of possible Farm In opportunities.
Board of Directors
Bill McDonald – Owner and director of MCG Group, a civil construction, mining,drilling,
quarry and resource development company with an annual turn over in excess of $70M.
Peter Bannister – A qualified Mining Engineer (BE Mining from UQ) with over 18 years
of post-graduate experience in a variety of commodities and a range of disciplines. In
addition, Peter holds an Associate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment.
