MCG completed the prestrip of 2,400,000m3 of topsoil and alluvium overburden material for Foxleigh Mining 2 weeks ahead of schedule. This was made possible by the proactive approach taken by MCG in being able to adapt to project requirements. When it was found that the original requirement for a scraper fleet was not going to be suited to excavate all of the benches required, MCG was able to provide a truck fleet in addition to the original proposed scraper team. This ensured the production requirements of Foxleigh were not only met, but exceeded.
