Project Features:

The coal crushing contract awarded to MCG was for 500,000 tonnes and was developed into a 24/7 operation. The operation required a 500tph production rate with a crusher, radial stacker and large loaders feeding the coal through the crushing unit initially. MCG constantly monitored the effectiveness of the plant used to ensure the most cost effective methodology. Plant configuration was adapted to incorporate excavator hopper feeding and a different setup for the crusher which allowed the stacker to be removed from the production train. A full range of SOPs and safety systems have been developed to ensure full compliance with BMAs stringent safety requirements.
