PROJECT FEATURES:

MCG were engaged on the Burton Downs rehabilitation contract on Burton Downs mine. The project initially consisted of topsoiling for waste dumps, construction of contour drains and rock lined spine drains. This scope was increased to include preparation works on batters that had been affected by the extended wet season, and the award of a separate batter preparation and rock breaking and placement contract for further drainage activities on site.
